By all accounts, the 2nd Ryan’s Circle of Giving Golf Classic was our most enjoyable, moving and successful golf tournament to date, and we owe that success to our very generous sponsors, golfers, auction and raffle donors, diners and The Tunxis Plantation Country Club.
Each year, we try to honor Ryan and his legacy in ways that would make him proud. What was special about this year?

An increase in golfers of 25% from last year, with 103 in the field.

12 kids under 17 playing with their dads

11 multigenerational teams (including kids 18 and older playing with their moms and dads). Up from 6 multigenerational teams last year.

Tunxis Plantation Country Club’s beautiful course, Pavilion, delicious food and wonderful crew.

Our very hard-working, dedicated volunteers.

The presence, generosity and loving words of so many family, friends and friends of friends.

The wonderful, crazy duo of our emcee’s, Fox61’s Sports Director, Rich Coppola, and reporter, Jimmy Altman.

The graceful, stunning waltz, choreographed and performed by Fredrik Hoskins and Annie Rockhill from the Fred Astiare Dance Studio. They danced to Ryan’s Song, written and composed by broadway composer, music director, lyricist and conductor, David Friedman, who regularly appears on the Kathy Lee & Hoda show.
These are the memories that will remain emblazoned in our minds and in our hearts and these are the things that inspire us to continue on with this event, honoring Ryan’s life and the good works he did throughout his too-short time with us.
We continue to be humbled by the tremendous support we have received and we are delighted to tell you that this year’s tournament was our most successful ever, with a net profit of over $36,300!
Ryan’s Circle of Giving will be donating 100% of these funds to the charities to which Ryan bequeathed his unused college funds.
Ryan would be thrilled with this year’s event and results; friends and family playing together, fundraising for the causes that meant so much to him and knowing that his life and final act of giving have touched the hearts of so many.
